Sheer Simplicity - Jane Iredale "Naturally Glam" palette

If you're looking for a new luxurious everyday eyeshadow palette, look no further!

The "Naturally Glam" eye shadow kit from Jane Iredale
This eyeshadow palette has five shades:
- "Feather" - a soft sheer golden ivory
- "Lace" - a warm sheer gold transition shade
- "Chenille" - a warm golden medium bronze
- "Satin" - a sheer transitional rose gold
- "Velvet" - a warm demi-matte chocolate brown with the tiniest bit of gold shimmer

Top to bottom: feather, lace, chenille, satin, and velvet

What I Love:

This palette can be used as a multitasking makeup.  The shades "feather" and "lace" can be used as highlighters that really make your face take on a youthful glow. The shade "satin" can be used as a glowy rose gold blush. The shades "chenille" and "velvet" can be applied as bronze to chisel out your cheeks.
All of the shades in this palette are sheer for the most part.  This means that when they are applied to your face,  it won't be a drastic change,  but instead,  you'll create a glowing natural makeup look. The coverage of these shadows is buildable. So if you just want a touch of shimmer, just apply one layer of shadow.  For a more pronounced shimmer and color, continue to apply additional layers of shadow.

What I Don't Love:

As beautiful and luxurious as this palette is, I would've thought that the applicator would be a little nicer than just a sponge-tip applicator. The sponge-tip works okay for applying the crease shades, but it's a little impractical using it to apply base shades.  I ended up using my finger tips to get a broader coverage on my eyelids.  Ideally I would've liked to see one of the ends having a brush at the tip.
As gorgeous as this palette is, unless you really must have the best natural/ holistic makeup formulas, the price might make you stagger a tiny bit.  $59.00 on janeiredale.com  this beauty comes at a little expense.  Don't get me wrong,  the quality you get is definitely worth every penny, but you may have to save up or find a buying option with a payment plan if you're in my shoes.

I give this palette a 4 out of 5 stars.  I would recommend this palette to anyone who lives a good natural makeup look or anyone obsessed with glowing neutral colors.
